Thanks stockartist, very informative. It just goes to prove how significant the IRL Aravalli ZINC/LEAD project is.
The Aravalli project is huge by any measure, 95 to 135 million tons, slap bang in the middle of the Hindustan Zinc mines ( Sindesar Khurd the northern mine and Rajpura Dariba the zinc mine in the south)
How many people realise that the Rajpura Dariba mine is said to be the oldest zinc mining and smelter in the world.
The Aravalli ZINC/LEAD project is now being finalised into a Mining Licence for India Resources and is more than 3 times bigger than the sum of Sindesar Khurd and Rajpura Dariba combined. It is almost twice the size of Iron Bark and 5 times bigger than Alara Resources Khnaiguiyah project.
As you can see Hindustan Zinc Sindesar Khurd mine (grey color) is in the middle of IRL's Aravalli project.(green color)
Its no wonder that Hindustan Zinc are upset, heaven forbid a little ASX company like IRL has snuck up in the middle of the night and stolen the crown jewels out from under their very noses.
