One important pillar of society is "Property rights". This means that if you work for something it shouldn't be taken away from you. It just takes one example of someone whose wealth is taken away and redistributed for this pillar to crumble and we are back in the dark ages. Think about the implications. Every billionaire in the country would flee, taking their wealth and most likely business with them.
I think the statement of "Billionaires get rich of the back of others" is true but the negative stigma that comes with it isn't. These billionaires tend to put a lot of wealth, risk and responsibility on the line to make a business. This business creates jobs that pays others. The fact that the business owners earns more than their workers is part of capitalism and reflects the the sacrifices as well as wealth, risk and responsibilities that they have made. Capitalism wouldn't work if there wasn't a benefit for the wealthy to enrich them further. From my perspective this is a win for the rich but more importantly a win for the lower and middle class that get employed.
To be fair, if some one has an issue with capitalism they probably shouldn't be on hotcopper since the equity market sits in the very core of capitalism.
