yeah its a humor forum.. if you want to turn it into a political debate then there are forums on HC for such..... if you want to debate with me you can tag me in it and we can discuss in depth if you wish in another forum... I dont agree with you by far... plus you dont make much sense man... you say "If this premise was even remotely true then the wealth of the bottom 50% of society would be increasing and the bottom 50% would be decreasing." which is it?... u messed up there man..
I will say however, the handouts in this country are ridiculous and tax payers are getting smashed year after year... my best mate just said to me he earns $80K a year, has 3 kids and has to pay maintenance to his wife (separated obviously), with high rent and inflation going through the roof he is going backwards... literally said to me he would be better to go out west and sort cheaper rent, go on unemployment benefits and he would be better off... his drive in life has depleted and he is giving up chasing wealth... this is just one story... my sister is a dole bludging @#$% that i cant stand, is 44 and has never worked a day in her life, has 2 kids, one looks to follow her footsteps... affords alcohol and seems to have a few dollars in her purse every week, has a cheap unit that she gains government assistance with... has literally said to me, "why would I work".... so yes its not funny pur se, but the irony of it is some what black humor... enough said...
