The closest BOM weather station to Kidston is Carpentaria Downs station - about 25 Kms north east of Kidston. Here's a link to daily global solar exposure measurements at Carpentaria Downs - there are certainly days where solar exposure is lowered by cloud cover and thus solar power generated would be well below rated output.
