Just come back from the AGM.
Money was certainly saved on lavish afternoon teas. Yup....water, mints.....and that's it.
Suited me, I'd rather we save every penny for the proposed "material oil and gas transaction"
Unfortunately, Bevan had a last minute family calling last night, so sent his apologies and did not attend the meeting.
Bummer. I was really looking forward to meeting him.
Anyway, same incredibly small turnout as there was last year but much more conviction from the directors as to our future.
Max was understandably "measured" with all commentary surrounding the "material oil and gas transaction".
As it turns out they have a few irons in the fire, a couple of which are quite advanced.
As Max said though, unless you have every detail, announcements can't be made to the ASX with a few loose ends.
That detail apparently is still being negotiated and we came to understand, that we may not have to wait much longer, before we find out.
A few other things were mentioned and even though no material information was given away (Max and Neil are far too professional for that), I did digest everything that was said and left the meeting with my own conclusion:
