In the MD's latest BRR presentation he indicated that the company would be focusing on its gold / copper assets.
This would clearly indicate that the Kaolin project may be on the market, especially with the upgrade to the resource in the past week to 16m tonnes gross and 8 million tonnes net. Gross sale value of the asset IMO as a complete amateur, is about $1.6 billion.
Can any one put an NPV on this project to give some idea of what it may be worth. I have no idea as to the costs of mining and processing this product are.
My understanding is that this is a very high grade deposit and will be sought after for its quality.
Whats it worth in a sale?
