Following up on this mornings posts with Pinozi & my comments about the FX weekend gaps, I thought it might be of use to somebody (hopefully it is) if I post a summary of this week's opening gaps, their tradeability & their status for 9 FX pairs that I follow (for gaps):
This week, 5 out of 9 pairs produced tradeable gaps (gaps > 10 pips, more than enough to cover spread on any pair). All gaps were closed by midnight Monday, i.e. within 1 day.
I'll do the same again next week, but will also drill back to highlight any remaining gaps open from the last couple of months (there's not many, if any, that I can recall).
Cheers, Sharks.
PS: Please note that FX trading currently opens each Monday morning at 6:00 am AEST & closes each Saturday at 7:00 am AEST.
