Monday AUgust 8th FX Gaps, page-3

Further update on the status of this week's FX gaps.

The USDJPY closed overnight making it the of this week's gaps to close - all this week's gaps (and my gap trades) now closed (see data table):



So the only 3 gaps for this year still open are the 3 GBP gaps:

AUDGBP - currently at 405 pips
GBPEUR - currently at 718 pips
GBPUSD  - currently at 683 pips

All 3 have been widening since last week's BOE rate decision & following commentary about supporting England's post Brexit economy, so I expect them to stay open quite a while longer.
