Hain. I'm really sorry to hear about your losses. Maybe just diversify a bit more if you haven't already and keep a little in MON? You'll make money somewhere.
Having held for so long, it would be a very tough decision to sell now. The (potential) positive is if there is some news about improvement at Davyhurst and Mt Ida, you might regain some of your losses. The potential downside is there might be a bit of tax-loss selling before the end of the financial year and other issues yet to be resolved.
Your situation is a very difficult one at this point in time.
I know that over the last year or so, you never personally attacked anyone (including me) for criticising MON and you humbly stuck to your position - very patient and admirable. I tried to refrain from debating the issues with you directly and tried to focus them towards other posters, as I know the language may have been a little difficult.
If you decide to keep some MON, I hope it turns around for your sake. If not, I hope you do well in what you do invest in.
Btw, I lost a fair bit a few years back (in the order of 50%) and regained it all and more reasonably quickly. So have many others
