ive done my research. MOL is an average grade resource with a massive capex which needs a sustained price of $15/lb. it is located in australia, and it has an agreement to send its concentrate to Chile for processing, and the the final product gets sent to Germany. long way to travel. given that TC has its own metallurgical plant in North America it is probably in their best interest to acquire projects there. especially considering that the final product is consumed in that part of the world unlike australia. especially considering there are several good deposits there next door to their plant. and, yes, i know what u r getting at with china's shift from net exporter to importer. nevertheless when TC is assessing its options, it would surely consider north american resources first. plenty of good ones there. u should research them!!
