I am constantly amazed by SLA's apparent requirement that all material information be delivered in person to their corporate office in St Killda Road. Occasionally snail mail from Russia is also acceptable.
This has come through in the tone of a number of their ASX releases over the last few years - have a look at the 9 Feb 2006 announcement of a letter (dated 19 January) from a Russia-based member of the SLA team.
Then, we had the recent visit from a senior doctor who was bringing trial results with him.
Now - we have people on this site anxiously awaiting the return to Australia of an SLA director, as though his physical presence back in Australia is required for any news to flow in relation to his travels.
Has SLA not heard of email communication, or failing that, the telephone or facsimile machine?
