Political situation in the DRC is stabilizing. But all that can change. But the political players most likely would not shoot the goose that laid the copper or cobalt egg. They need the tax revenues to support themselves and the people. I have has no trouble investing in the DRC. I invested with Ivanhoe and have doubled my money. It helps though to have someone like Robert Freidland as part owner of the company. As always do you due diligence. Good Luck....
