I like to revisit the MNS chart every now and then because it never fails to surprise and somewhat puzzle me. First off is the larger and longer chart which shows the often discussed long term downward trendline which I have posted before - I have tidied the chart up a bit but left the trendline unaltered.
What I find interesting with MNS is that finally it did break through that trendline but as opposed to many stocks it did not reverse and climb away from it - I've left the heavy black lines (resistance) there on the chart as I think they have a lot to do with the inability of MNS to finally escape the attraction of the long term downward trendline.
Anyway a shorter term view shows how the trendline has now turned from resistance into support - hopefully that will give long term holders some optimism but the effect of those heavy black resistance lines has to be overcome.
