▪ Nanhai Carbon has completed the first phase analytical program on the Lac Rainy graphite samples – feedback received has been very positive with Nanhai Carbon confirming that the Lac Rainy graphite concentrate is a high-grade / high-purity product that upgrades with simple processing / beneficiation techniques implying a low-cost production profile.


▪ Analytical program completed by Nanhai Carbon has demonstrated that the graphite concentrate produced from the Lac Rainy samples was fine grained with high-purity levels – most suited for spherical graphite applications – additional down-stream analysis proposed


▪ According to Roskill, demand for graphite in battery applications is forecast to grow by 5-8% per year over the decade between 2017 and 2027

Nanhai's analytical program demonstrated MLS most suited for spherical graphite applications

Graphite prices vary from $400 to $1400 depend on the size .


"According to Industrial Minerals assessment, flake graphite 94-97% C, -100 mesh price was assessed at $655-790 per tonne on April 12, unchanged from the previous week.

Prices in the European market also remained unchanged.

Flake graphite 94-97% C, +80 mesh was stable at $1,000-1,300 per tonne cif Europe as of April 12.

Flake 94-97% C, +100 -80 mesh and -100 mesh, flake graphite were also unchanged at $950-1,100 per tonne and $790-940 per tonne cif Europe respectively."

Spherical Graphite is much higher.
Uncoated Spherical Graphite prices at $2,700 -$2800/ton .

Spherical Graphite prices increased in last few months, and expected to go higher because the demand  and tighten in supply.


Interesting to read from Market News:

"Graphite spot prices
According to an October 2017 article in Energy Storage: "Spot prices for graphite had risen 300 percent since January, hitting $35,000 per metric ton, and demand for tech-grade material was expected to soar 200 percent in under three years." I assume the $35k/t is for spherical graphite.

Others have the graphite spot price at $7,000 and $12,000 per metric ton for natural spherical graphite anode material. Flake graphite prices are the precursor and tend to be in the USD 1,000 range."

Focus Graphite until now still a Graphite   Non-Producer Co.   just few steps ahead compared with MLS .

With the exciting MOU and full support from Nanhai plus advantages of High-grade Graphite Lac Carheil Prospect MLS should overtake Focus Graphite in near future, imo.

Bring up top quality  Spherical Graphite is what and where MLS aiming and supposed to achieve.

MLS SP will Onward and upwards to the sky is the limit for the future of MLS's holders.
