i have to be careful how i phrase this ! as you will know there was argueably one of the biggest frauds in the us carried out by major banks moving their assets offshore, whilst leaving all their liabilities on the balance sheets in the US. You should then ask where did all this money go. most commentators will argue asia and the emerging markets. flipside is that because any american bank having a major holding in a company ive incested in makes me nervous, not confident.
