Mixing with the right people

Some notes from this mornings’ SYR phone hook-up for those who missed it

• New CEO to be announced within the next few days
• Balama Project on schedule and on budget – anyone expect anything other than this?
• SG detailed Plant design in Louisiana USA is complete
• Latest resource upgrade gives Balama the status of having the largest highest quality graphite resource on the planet.
• Expected in March the company will provide more granularity on sales and marketing activities including more information on China sales
• Initial plan for the SG plant in Louisiana was an initial 20kt pa – this has now advanced to 60kt pa
• Full time people in China are getting very good response from potential clients in respect of samples provided.
• Both company presentations and marketing to be emphasised over next 6 months in the US. Syrah is and will be recognised as a global company

As has been said before these people are going about building a business and it looks like a big one at that – from these dot points it is apparent they are achieving their goals.

So now who are the keynote speakers presenting at this seminar? – Kurt Kelty and Jeff Dahn both of Tesla Motors, Xi Shen and WenFeng Jiang both of BYD Batteries in China and Christina Lampe-Onnerud Director Syrah resources. The company is clearly mixing with the right people.
