I suggest you use the ASX announcement to substantiate anything you want to say, given so far you have 100% inaccuracy. Like I've said, I don't own MGR or have any financial or other interest in it however 5 minutes of reading highlights the following:
1. Chester Square is actually owned by MRZ - Mirvac Real Estate Investment Trust - NOT BY MGR;
2. Chester Square is currently undergoing a redevelopment. So if there are not tennants seems likely because there are builders with "warning, do not enter" signs working there;
3. The "number of developments unsold". Read the ASX announcement on 20/12/07. This covers the FUTURE which you so love.
Like I said, rather than listen to your friend do some reading. Not rocket science here.
