    Well that is concerning Shakey and the brakes wont be truly lifted until this is known one way or the other.

    Ive just done some further research  based on shakey's post and I see Aura has presented its case to the EPA.

    So it seems like the EPA has proposed a change to the Environamental and Mineral Act, and has sought submissions by Jan3, 2018. The proposal is in favour of a ban on uranium mining, however does concede certain exemptions. In effect,and having read through the proposal, the intent is to remove uranium as a concession mineral thereby making it's mining impossible. The proposal does however concede that that uranium ore is often intermingled with other minerals and that these concedes that one should be able to to mine other minerals, which may in effect cause the inadvertant mining of uranium.

    They  list an alternative approach, which is an all in ban on uranium mining and exploration, but does not support this avenue. Still researcing...
