According to Section 50, 65 and 66 of the Nigeria Minerals and Mining Act, 2007 ,

"PART V- MINING 65. Grant of Mining Lease (1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Minister shall, upon receipt of a valid application from a qualified applicant, grant and issue to that person a Mining Lease for the purposes required within forty-five days of such application. "

On Page no.93 "days" means working days "

If we consider only working days that means that we still got couple of weeks left in mandatory period .Wait and Watch .
