here's an article from minebox. note the last paragraph which reads,
"The 100% company owned projects are effectively among the largest uranium portfolios, in historically some of the most uranium prospective areas in Australia."

Scimitar to target extensions of Manyingee deposit
Scimitar Resources is set to commence drilling at the company’s 100% owned Yanrey Projectin Western Australia.
The 2,500m drilling program will target uranium mineralisation within the Manyingee Channel adjacent to the Manyingee deposit held by Paladin Resources Ltd and the deeper northern extensions of the Bennet Channel.
The Yanrey Project is situated 85km to the south of Onslow and covers Mesozoic sediments that are highly prospective for sandstone hosted roll front uranium mineralisation, similar to the Manyingee Uranium Deposit.
Previous broad spaced drilling by CRAE in the 1970’s and early 1980’s identified roll front uranium Mineralisation over 4km of the Bennet Well palaeochannel.
Drilling completed by Scimitar in the second half of 2006 (4,666m) confirmed the presence of a large uranium mineralized palaeochannel system and returned a number of significant results.
Mineralisation intersected to date is indicative of a roll front redox style and reflects a contrast between oxidised quartz sands (limonite dominated) and the reduced sediments (pyrite, carbon and lignite dominated) of the Nanutarra Formation.
Scimitar Resources Limited is a leading Australian company in the exploration for uranium. The company controls over 20,000sqkm of uranium prospective tenements across three states, allowing for diversification not only geologically but also with regard to differing political sentiment and policy within each state towards uranium exploration and mining.
The 100% company owned projects are effectively among the largest uranium portfolios, in historically some of the most uranium prospective areas in Australia.
