The shame is that pressure had to be applied to get the Minister to change his mind. How pathetic.
What's happening in Australia? Have we become so mentally and emotionally weak that we need protection from opposing points of view? Since when has it been the governments job to protect us from other ideas? Shades of 1984.
That 500 left wing protestors would show up and resort to violence in an effort to shut down some guy espousing his own ideas is a national shame. Who educated these people?
They may consider themselves agents for change, but if you think about it they are actually agents for control. They seem unaware that they have been indoctrinated, totally brain washed to respond with violence when they hear something that they don't agree with.
This level of societal control is insidious and dangerous. Consider the allegory of the boiling frog. I fear for my grandchildren because our freedom is being whittled away and so many young people are unaware.
