ing's emerging companies trust has had an awful last year and a half, currently down about 22% for the year. before that they were the leaders averaging about 30% per annum over a 5 year period 'in the good ole days' when anyone could make a buck. their result this year comes against some of the other small company trusts doing considerably well, i think perpertual was above 20% growth.
as for their sell down of millers, i think they've got that one wrong. perhaps, they've had a capital gain on the shares and are selling in order to improve the trusts performance by matching the gain against numerous losses.???
