    You can see the Infowars artcile misquotes its source. Its poor quality journalism.

    The article talks about the number of inmates being watched for Dangerous Islamic Ideology. The source article talks about an actual number of inmates being watched, not a percent of the total population;

    "The prison authorities pay particular attention to prisoners with Islamist backgrounds. "The number of prisoners, who have become conspicuous because of their Islamist sentiment, has risen sharply in the past two years," reports the Stuttgart Minister of Justice Guido Wolf. Until 2016, it was only a single-digit number, in the course of 2017, depending on the time between 20 and 30 have been, now 45. "Our prison officials, who are already exposed to great burdens, that introduces more Challenges, "says Wolf. "We are doing everything we can to detect signs of Islamist radicalization at an early stage and to resolutely oppose it," affirms the CDU minister..."

    So thats 45 out of the entire prison population. Where as infowars has misquoted that figure as meaning a percent - probably deliberately;

     "The Islamic prison population has also strongly increased in the last two years. It has been between 20 to 30 per cent in 2017 and is now at 45 percent."

    I'm not saying that Muslim people are not over-represented in German prisons, but this infowars rubbish is always wrong.
