The way I'm piecing things I'd say:
The awkward pause, hesitation in only providing a brief sound bite of the tech and the words "under the radar at the moment" claims David made when interviewed by "the app guy" podcast last year when asked about the Thred app stems from the secrecy of Threds participation in Microsofts BizSpark program and the development of the app.
I might listen back over that part again.. It's somewhere toward the end..
