Whilst the "fair trade" arguament can be used to justify whatever it takes to get the business....and all good for Australia etc, the issue here is a very specific UN santion. This was put in place to stop money getting to Saddam Hussain. In the AWB case some $280m got back to SH and his arguably went into his war chest and now into the insurgents war chest......and being used against coalition forces. So this illegial business is definitely against Australia's best interest.

I don't support the war in Iraq but I can't agree with any action by AWB that puts our forces and interests at stake. Think past the trade and look at the bigger issues.
