You would have to think that ASIC has the power somewhere to allow deferral of an AGM - to ensure shareholders are fully briefed, and that voting is based on all the facts - not just those of 28 days ago? Regardless of Xmas, end of year etc
And note ASX announcements last Thur and Fri both talked as though respective Boards had spoken to ASX- why would they have done that?
Much More likely that the reverse is the case - that ASX spoke to them re their breaches of ASX Listing Rules
So then the next query? Why not require full and proper disclosure before voting COMMENCES on all resolutions 3 to 8. Goes to relevance also to the (in)actions of Directors up for re-election, as well as the company name and IMA's?
And a hold on any more restructure of the portfolio in the meantime?
Cannot believe all these options are not available between the two Regulators? So is it actually a test? Whether they wish to have a "properly" operating market?
