Further reaffirms my concerns around timeframes for wave. If MO is saying 3-5 for commercialisation, then you may as well call it minimum 10-20 given the propensity of CCE to constantly falsely market themselves.


Watching the downward pressure of prices from wind and solar it’s practically impossible for wave to compete commercially for decades. I hope one day it still finds it’s way into the mix but it’s now seeming like it is a very long way down the track.


Some one a while ago (I think it was Invictus) very rightly pointed out in an excellent post that CCE is an R&D group and that failure is part of that process. This of course we all know to be true and we would be more understanding and forgiving. However the issue of course is that CCE are happy to blatantly lie, mislead and hide the truth and as a result, people are reaching for pitchforks. This is further exacerbated by the sheer arrogance of the CEO to expect to get paid $750k pa to maintain his lifestyle whilst the share price languishes where it is.


How CCE have conducted themselves over the past few years is criminal. It is ILLEGAL to not disclose information.


Continuous Disclosure Corporations Act Obligation

• A corporation must disclose information to the ASX in accordance with the Listing Rules, where the information:

– is not generally available;and

– a reasonable person would expect it to have a material effect on price or value (s674(2))


I hope there is an investigation into the EMC fiasco. I have found out what the business used to turn over before CCE picked it up. For CCE to pay $14M for that business is an absolutely bloody disgrace!!! I firmly believe something very wrong has taken place and I hope that ASIC looks into it because it reeks.
