Can only agree with all your sentiments re coal. Hopefully Mgx has no intention and the story was a plant by UBS & Gresham's to stir up a bit of interest.
Rather than coal, I would much rather see Mgx go for a new, future technology mineral like Lithium , Cobalt, Vanadium or even Graphite. If Graphene achieves only ever 1/3 of the potential uses i've read about it, anyone with a developing Graphite resource will be a big winner.
Lets hope its all an investment bank ruse.....
