I think that might be true if you're valuing MGX solely on cash, but valuations to date have pretty much ignored their cash. Just because the SP has caught up with about cash backing at this point in time, doesn't mean it will now be anchored by it.

The view I have is that MGX could leverage that cash and do something spectacular with it (buy a Li resource?!) to force its spec value to increase. But pigs might fly.

MGX has demonstrated for about that it doesn't know what to do with the cash, so best return it to shareholders. On a PE metric the SP shouldn't change much, but of course it would.
