I wondered that aswell as d-tree is in the protected area, whereas lady annie in near the edge.
D-tree was pull from the project of state sig. application and they are planning an under 2 milion/t year operation at d-tree which might require less/shorter environmental approvals. D-tree might have already been an exiting tenement and the others had/are to be applied for???not sure.

I know new mines will have a hard time getting up in the area due to the legislation in place.

If I was a met or legend holder I would do some more research(i'm not researching further as I don't plan to hold legend or met). Bit of info online about the Gregory river protected area, and the legend bmo reports have a bit, also worth calling the gov and qld wilderness society.
