I saw a snippet on one of the Foxtel Business Channels last week that discussed a failed merger between BOQ and Suncorp.
I understand the CEO of BOQ has released a circular to all staff basically saying there is some chatter in the press and that it's business as usual.
Interestingly he did not deny (nor did he confirm) the rumours.
Also of interest is that neither BOQ or Suncorp made any announcement in relation to this via the ASX.
So how did Foxtel get the scoop and why didn't either of two companies come out and say anything?
Has anyone heard or know anything that can shed some light on this?
