so maybe we can look at the relative value each company is adding here as a bit of a thought exercise. I'm a total amateur at this so feel free to add in your own figures/thoughts;

Texon:

7400 EFS acres X say $25,000 per acre: $185m

Total Texon contribution: $185m plus 500 boepd

Sundance:

4800 baaken x say $20k per acre: $96m

cash: $165m

Niobrara 9000 acres at ? per acre (I have no idea!)

Missisippian 30000 acres at ? per acre (also no idea!)

Total Sundance Contribution: 96m + 165m + niobrara + mississipian + 700 boepd.

?? is a 2 to 1 merger fair ?? thoughts?
