Abraxas Petroleum Corp. said Tuesday it’s signed a deal to sell its interest in an Eagle Ford Shale project for $19.1 million. The San Antonio company described the acquiring company as “a large institutional buyer,” but didn’t identify it.
Called the Nordheim Project, the play consists of 544 acres in DeWitt County in South Texas. Abraxas is unloading its 25 percent stake.
the project is in the far southern oil/gas zone, so basically its on the fringe of the gas boundary
so get out your calculator and work out what 25% of 544 acres is per acre
so who is up for the SEA deal now?
$12k per acre??? come on texon holders... get on the phone and tell them to look a little harder...
