I must say this deal has to be in the making for a while. For sure, Merck knows what they were planning to do. The fact the bots can drive the price down so well can only mean that ship is very tight. No leak. I am hoping other companies such as BMY could be doing the same plan on the quiet and out they come with a counter offer.
