I think you find that the Telstra link would have been researched by VBA and Telstra would have given some undertaking as to the reliability of the link.

You would think that Telstra could arrange for some contingent connection within a couple of hours to get VBA by, but no - did not happen(?).

I agree that VBA, with hindsight, probably should have had a prearranged backup link, but I suppose in order to keep costs down this was not done.

Nevertheless, your post sounds like an upset TLS SH trying to shift the blame back on VBA but it doesn't work that way - the Telstra link was severed (by accident I suppose) and that's the end of the matter...
