Battery Minerals was featured in today's Australian Financial Review
Highlights:
- Battery Minerals lists in Canada in March
- Canadian brokers BMO Bank of Montreal and Eight Capital are tipped to be lead underwriters on the float,
- Sydney-based advisory boutique Hunter Capital - which is also a shareholder in Battery Minerals - is expected to assist with the Australian institutional portion;
- raise up to $C50 million through an IPO, for a market capitalisation of as much as $C160 million. and
- New York-based private equity giant Yorktown Partners is also on the register.
So what:
- Battery minerals (BMR) Iron Mask tenement is adjacent and contiguous with MEIs by the same name,
- BMR's COO who managed exploration works at the adjacent tenement recently joined MEI
- BMR is currently drilling Iron mask and will reveal results as part of the IPO process, and
- Historicals on MEI's land had considerable widths (25m) of outcropping high-grade cobalt (18% Co), over strike >2km.
- Similar zones were seen by BMRs mapping, sampling, ground geophys surveys (mag, RE & IP).
