I went to the PGL-AVX meeting in Sydney yesterday and raised the significant hurdles that the merger had to overcome - starting with the EGM tomorrow.

Both Drona and Homburg were smugly (purely my observation) confident that the Friday tilt will be voted down. I got the feeling they have a fair chunk of the registry in their back pocket - plus the drips like me that bought in Dec and have not received proxy forms and didn't vote on-line so my votes will be at the chairman's discretion.

I think the fall in sp since that meeting reflects the selling by people who thought they will get the $1.10. I would say that is at risk based on what I saw/heard yesterday.
