I see Woolies as a defensive stock with good( stable?) yield. Given weakening CPI , wages (wage recession) growth etc etc. We might see a temporary recession if Commodities do not roar pretty soon. Better to own the Bruised Market Leader than say Dominoes selling Salty Fatty Pizzas with 1-2% div yield and skyhigh PE. As for Aldi everything about Fresh Food is pretty aweful
