In the report, it states Chinese sales per store decrease, does it covering all the new stores? Or comparing only the old store to old store only from previous period?
If it is comparing sales per store of new stores as well, it is very misleading. New stores need time to pick up sales. And as the company grows, it is impossible to maintain the average per store sales in overall because some of new stores might not be opening at as highly populated area as existing stores, therefore the sales won't be as high as some of the existing stores. As long as the per store sales of existing stores increase/ maintained
we are heading to right direction. For example, infant formula sales at coles store open in Melbourne cbd will be higher than infant formula sales at Geelong.
