Is it just coincidence that the same day the NZ Herald regurgitates old news that was telegraphed by the CEO herself months in advance at the last AGM that Motley Fool publishes the same thing like its something a gun journalist has just dug up and presented as fresh news ?
Love the MF puff piece making out that David Hearn sold off a $1m parcel after converting some options for $63k and we should be worried. They neglect to mention the lucky MF has another $40m of shares still in his account. Crikey we are meant to run to our keyboards and click sell because a BOD member sells a minute fraction that still leaves him with $40m at today's price let alone what is going to worth after a few more profit reports and we are meant to be somehow concerned.
I have said it before and I will say it again, I think New Zealander's have been let down by a national newspaper that is quite happy to allow itself to be used as the vehicle to plant the seed of doubt in poor inexperienced investors minds and try to prise as many shares out of them as they can to help the shorters close their positions before the share price manipulation runs out of steam and continues its ascent again.
The world is not a fair place and we have to accept what we can change and what we cant. Some posters have done us shareholders proud and stood up to blatant media manipulation to help the those whose interest is to close their shorts as low as they can. They have been rising to the occasion and sending off emails of protest to relevant parties but by the looks of it there has been no slow down in such sly articles that are released to coincide with SP bot manipulation.
Well if you cant beat them, join them. I helped a family member who was not a holder get his first parcel at $14 this morning. Anything I can do to help mop up the cheap shares they are selling in a controlled manner in a attempt to push down the SP momentarily and hopefully reduce the pool of shares available to them to allow them to buy back in cheaper. If you are using stop losses on a company with such bright future full well knowing that these SP manipulations happen often and are short lived you deserve to be parted with your shares. At some stage it may drop under $14 again more than once in future but I am sure it will look cheap after the next report and certainly beat a term deposit in the long run.
