Not sure of the relevance of this but a Kuwati loan of $50 million to Egypt for the construction of 4 desalination plants producing 56,000 M3/day is interesting.
Relatively small plants and drawing a very long bow just could be in the sweet spot of Fluence with their Nirobox technology, almost certainly the proposed plants seem to be too small to be suitable for EPC plants.. There is a large amount of desalination proposed in Egypt and Fluence through their IWSI joint venture are right there.
This Arab state loan to Egypt for desalination is just a small part of a huge amount of money a number of Arab states have lent at interest rates of 1% to 1.5% p.a.
