from today's Investsmart / Eureka report -
There’s something in the water.
Small cap Fluence Corporation keeps steaming along, helped by a non-executive director, Paul Donnelly, who spent $180,000 on more shares on March 11.
Fluence specialises in water treatment solutions.
This was two weeks before, to the day, that Fluence announced its participation in a joint venture that will serve around 250,000 people through a desalination plant in Egypt. The contract is valued at $US74 million.
This came right on the back of announcing new wastewater treatment plants in Jamaica. Donnelly, the director who spent up, hails from Macquarie where he has spent the last two decades working across senior roles including as global head of equity capital markets and global head of debt markets.
As they mention in an earlier report about Australia's climate becoming dryer -
Invest in water, not companies that need it.
