assuming media reforms are passed as is, am wondering what will happen with PRT.
Prime has broadcasts Seven content. contract goes for years.

So would it be possible for example only, that prime could merge with say (only an example) Sthn Cross TV station, or a WIN station?
Could it be possible for PRT to own say Prime (broadcasting Seven) and say WIN (broadcasting TEN content, or maybe Sthn Cross) ???
why couldn't the same holding coy own two tv stations in same regional areas?
yes competing against each other - but different content.
    cost savings:
could have same sales teams - sell adverts spots to same or different customers, because different content.
same news services. (I suppose argument about reduced diversity?)
same management and board - save costs.

If PRT are successful at managing one station, and that's their area of expertise, - then why not own two stations??

any views? just speculating just where PRT might be able to head in a new media ownership environment
