Agree. Lots of hard work, patience and hoop jumping required for that Govt business but once in place it’s hard to be dislodged unless there is a very good reason.
My concern with the SP3 product atm is because it is only an alert/warning system it is dependent on a shark being sighted and then activated by the third party that has made the sighting.
Some shark attacks might not be preceded by a human sighting - e.g. unseen shark takes a surfer. If that were to happen on a beach with an SP3 system already in place, it would likely provide a very good reason for local/state Govts to me ve away from SP3 and towards something with stronger detection aspect.
