Cobalt price falling will lead to market corrections in the long run. Basic economics. Price falls which disincentivises new mines to start production. Less new supply leads to a turn in price untill we eventually find an equilibrium. Yes supply ran a bit hard but we are seeing a correction in price now as a lot of stock and inventories are used up.
rising demand and low prices is unsustainable as cobalt will still need new mines in the medium to long term. A price increase is inevitable and high grade miners will be profitable long term.
