Now before anyone decides to TOU me for posting an LCY map on AQD threads please allow me to explain my logic. There are 2 principal drivers for LCY's recent run: 1 the impending drill results from Mt Bevan which are irrelevant to AQD 2 the rumoured deal between NMDC an Indian government owned and controlled company looking to take control of LCY's leases at Robertson range and their 2 smaller leases at Hammersley as well.VERY relevant to AQD I believe in terms of ascertaining a value for AQD's ground. Look at the position of the Robertson Range and the fault lines on LCY's ground in the first left hand map and then the position of their iron targets in the right hand map.I also believe they(NMDC) are interested in these leases of LCY's much more for their manganese potential rather than the iron ore.My logic being twofold,firstly there are plenty of smaller iron ore juniors closer to a port that would be happy to do a deal so why LCY? Secondly because manganese is a vital component in strengthening steel and most steel mills need a source of it. Now on the lower map look at the position of LCY's leases in relation to AQD's leases and more importantly look how AQD's ground dwarfs LCY's leases.Also bear in mind that I think the Robertson Ranges extend substantially into AQD tenements as do some of the faults.I think there is a fair chance that AQD's Table Hill ground also is host to some iron ore as well as manganese.Notice also who holds the ground to the east of AQD.....that's right it is Fortescue Metals......hmm wonder why? what do they mine? oh yes Iron ore remember.
