Mitchell Communication Group Limited – BlueFreeway Limited
Mitchell Communication Group Limited (“MCU”) has noted recent announcements by
BlueFreeway Limited (“BLU”) concerning preliminary, indicative, non-binding
discussions regarding a potential merger transaction and associated recent media
speculation.
MCU continually evaluates strategic initiatives to create shareholder value.
Consistent with this, we confirm that such initial indicative discussions regarding a
potential merger between MCU and BLU have been held. These discussions have
been preliminary and incomplete and no formal agreement has been reached.
However, given the recent announcements of BLU, MCU has informed BLU this
afternoon that it has decided not to proceed with further discussions at this time.
