I guess, but you'd benefit significantly more from selling the property. Nearly all agents are on commission only, so if they don't sell, they'll be eating from a can.
The only ones I see benefiting are those who reap the rewards from oversupply of properties that don't necessarily need to sell. The likes of REA, Domain, signage companies etc.
