i can't see the problem - and I don't work for the company.
Those 30 mill staff options will bring in a healthy $15 mill in cash.
So they are not free... and they are trading above the current share price.
The incentive is still there for the management to perform and help drive the share price way above 50 cents - so that they can benefit.
