I agree asb were never going to win a prime contractor spot on any of the recent tenders. What I had hoped to see was some certainty around participation as a sub contractor.
The agreement with asc is still in place but the requirement that Asc become a subsidiary of bae might blow that agreement out of the water.
I guess more waiting until we get clarity on the tender.
If asb don’t participate in the future frigate build somehow and we know they are not doing the opv then that leads back to my first question. Why stay in Australia?
